Founders Circle gifts fund the four pillars of TailTracker's nonprofit recovery infrastructure — the people, tools, partnerships, and field systems that make organized response possible. Donations support recovery readiness and field operations, not private technology development.
What specific gifts help underwrite:
- $25 Training and certification materials to prepare one new volunteer Finder for the field.
- $50 Core search supplies for a mission — high-visibility safety gear, lights, and flyer printing.
- $100 Field equipment that helps locate a frightened, hiding pet — trail cameras and humane trap support.
- $1,000 Outfits and trains a small Finder team, plus the coordination tools that keep a search organized.

It's the most common assumption — and only half true. A microchip only helps once a pet is already in someone's hands and scanned at a shelter or vet. It does nothing in the critical early hours when a frightened pet is loose, hiding, or moving away from home. That early window is exactly where TailTracker works — coordinating trained searchers and behavior-informed recovery before a pet ever reaches a shelter.
